Express Employment is actively seeking candidates for Customer Service positions in Sparta.

Position: Customer Service

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour

Employment Type: Temp to perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Using computer and spreadsheets
• Providing customer service via telephone and online communication
• Processing customer orders
• Building product knowledge and addressing product-related inquiries in the Baseball/Softball category
• Monitoring inventory to ensure product availability meets customer requirements

Expected Results:

• Ability to empathize with clients in high-pressure situations
• Proficiency in multitasking and meeting deadlines
• Working independently and collaborating with various teams and individuals across different brands

Skills Required:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent spreadsheet and Excel skills
• Proficiency in computer usage
• 1-3 years of customer service experience, both phone and electronic support

Experience Required:

• 1-3 years of customer service experience involving written and verbal communication
• Experience with online order processing
• Willingness to learn or prior experience with software such as FileMaker, OTS, SAP, Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce

Qualities Required:

• Detail-oriented
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly
• Team player

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

• Must be capable of bending, stooping, standing, and lifting objects up to 30 lbs.
